Today, to celebrate Bob Marley’s 80th Birthday, we joined over 250,000 other singers across the globe! We participated in a live sing-along in a medley of his music, having learnt the songs and moves over the last couple of weeks.
Today, we said goodbye to Miss Stott, who has started her maternity leave. During the assembly, she was presented with gifts for her and her new arrival. The whole school wishes her the best of luck and await news of the baby’s arrival, and hopefully a visit in the near future.
Children were treated to a special Santa Lucia procession in Collective Worship today. Children from Year 4 were Santa Lucia, tärnor and sjärngossar and we learned all about how people in Sweden, Norway and parts of Finland mark the start of Christmas. Children in Reception then ate special buns and gingerbread and all agreed that they were delicious!
Nightingale House Reindeer Dash
Year 4 were treated to a Roman feast during their experience day. The children and staff had a wonderful day learning about life in the Roman era.
